At the annual general meeting of the Wellington North Tennis Club the election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mrs. Knox Gilmer; president, Mr. C. McKechnie; vice -presidents, Mrs. Godber, the Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Myers, Mr. M.. Carroll, Mr. F. Elvines, Mr. R. Robb, Mr. Holloway, Mr. :P. Ryan; secretary, Mr. W- D. Gorr man; treasurer, Mr. H. Harrington; club captain, Mr. G. Calder; vicecaptain, Mr. C. Herlund; committee, Mesdames Herrington and Calder. Misses Garshock and Davis. The meeting voted reaffiliation with the Wellington Lawn Tennis League, and it was decided to officially open the 1941----42 season on Saturday, October 4, at 2 p.m. ' '
