AIR CASUALTIES
The following Air Force casualties were announced today :—
BLACK, Sergeant Alexander John, R.N.Z.A.F., previously reported missing; now reported prisoner of war, wounded. Mrs. H. L. Ross, S Tomes Road, Papanui, Christchurch (m.). HARRINGTON, Sergeant Barclay Christopher McGuire, R.N.Z.A.F., previously reported suffering from multiple injuries, now removed from seriously ill list. Mrs. S. Mahoney, Railway Hotel, Hawera (m.). KNIGHT, Pilot Officer John Frederick, R.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations. Mr. F. Knight, Avvhitu, Auckland (f.). ORCHARD, Flight Lieutenant Russell Ernest, R.A.F., missing on air operations. Mr. H. M. C. Orchard, 28 Rayburn Avenue, Christchurch (f.).
