N.Z. PIANIST'S SUCCESS

SYDNEY, Sept. 19.
The young New Zealand pianist Peter Cooper attracted a good audience at his first recital here, arid made a fine impression, says Mr. -Neville Cardus, the leading musical critic, who adds: "But he has yet to learn to transform notes iri to warm, flowing music. However, his earnest, careful playing was apparently much appreciated."
