RIVERS EROSION BILL

Although three local Bills and the most bulky Government Bill of the session were considered by Parliament yesterday, the day was a quiet one, I the discussions being colourless. The j Manukau County Council Empowering j Bill and ■ the Wellington Free Ambu-1 lance Bill were passed early in 1 the afternoon and progress was made on >the passage of the Auckland Centennial Memorial Park Bill.
