FLYING OFFICER ROUND

Flying Officer Arthur Kavham Round, who was previously reported missing believed killed and who has now been reclassifled as killed on active service, went to England in July, 1939,. when he took up a commission with the R.A.F- He spent several months in France just after his arrival

in Europe, and did a considerable amount of flying in the air fighting of. recent months. JHe was the third son of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Bound, Newlands, Johnsonvijle, and was a traffic inspector with the Wellingtbia City Corporation before joining the R.A.F. Educated at Thorndon normal school and Wellington Technical College, he played Rugby football with the Johnsonville Club.
