ELDERLY CYCLIST KILLED
(P.A.) GISBORNE, September 8. A collision in . Wainui Road during the lunch hour resulted in the death of Mr. George A. Holmes, aged 71, tailor, a well-kndwn Gisborne business man.
Mr. Holmes was overtaken by a motor-car when cycling and was carried on to the footpath and killed instantaneously. The driver of the car *ceived slight injuri*'
