The Dominion Auctioneering N Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report receiving a capacity yarding of pigs at their usual weekly sale, a total, clearance being made. Pigs.—Best weaners 14s to 17s 6d each, small 7s 6d to 10s each; slips' 15s to 19s 6d each, heavy stores 30s to 35s each, light stores 21s to 26s 6d each, porkers 41s to 47s 6d each, sows and litters £2 to £5 17s 6d each.

Poultry was in short supply, resulting ip. high prices ruling for all classes, heavy hens selling to 6s 6d each and best W.L. hens to 5s 5d each, with cockerels and ducks selling well in comparison. Exceptionally high prices were obtained for vegetables, lettuces selling to 23s 6d case, celery to 355, and cabbages to 18s.
