RUGBY, September 6,

Official opinion in London on the results of the Russian campaign during the week' ended September 5 is that as the result of heavy fighting, particularly 'in the direction of Leningrad- and the -Ukraine, the ■• Germans have made some further progress in several sectors, but that there are signs that the campaign is imposing an increasing strain on the Germans. .
