AID FROM SOUTH AMERICA
NEW YORK, September 6.
A message from Toronto states that Senor Alberto De Barros, Brazilian Ambassador to Canada, told the Press that if the United States should enter the war against Germany all the South American countries would follow suit. He added that the South American States looked to Washington for leadership, while German fears of South America were increasing since the recent anti-Nazi steps there.
A message from Managua, Nicaragua, states that President Somoza has ordered the closure of all German consulates by September I§. -■
