BRITONS AT VITTEL

1700 STILL INTERNED

LONDON, September 6,

According to reports from neutral sources, 1700 out of a total of 6000 Britons originally interned in France are still in camp at Vittel. Many women were for the first time so short of clothes that they had to stay in bed on washing day. Later they were given French army uniforms.
