U.S. AIR SQUADRON FOR CHINA

(Rec. 9 a.m.) BATAVIA, Sept. 2,

It is reliably stated that at the end of last week 30 United States pilots passed through Batavia, en route to Chungking.

The fact that the pilots were accompanied by their own planes and equipment aboard the ship made it unlikely that they were to act as instructors.

Apparently they will form a separate squadron.
