SKY FULL OF PLANES

ATTACK ON COLOGNE.

LONDON, September 2.

The R.A.F. opened the third yea* of the war with intensified blows against the enemy.

From dawn to dusk, the sky over the Channel has been filled with Hurricanes and Spitfires and bombers.

Before dark British planes again crossed the Channel, and they are believed to have made attacks on Calais and Boulogne.

Last night Cologne was attacked again but not on a heavy scale. One plane is missing.
