PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

"Santa Fe Trail."

Errol Flynn, swashbuckler-in-chief of a million feet of film and a whole library of romantic history, comes to the Paramount Theatre tomorrow in "Santa Fe Trail," his latest and undoubtedly most exciting picture. With him is lovely Olivia de Havilland. No more perfect pair could possibly have been cast in one picture. Splendid performances are also given by Ronald Reagan, Alan Hale, and Raymond Massey. It is a film all lovers of action will revel in, for it seems to have everything. It is seldom that a film so replete with action finds time to paint up the excellence of its acting as "Santa Fe Trail" does. Flynn is superbly the master of all the situations in which he becomes involved, and decidedly at home in the role of a famous cavalry commander. Olivia de Havilland, as "Kit Carson" Holliday, lives her role. Van Hefiin makes an easy switch from the suave young modern of "The. Philadelphia Story" to a dyed-in-the-wool villain, who puts money above country. Michael Curtiz, to whose credit such great pictures as "Dodge City," "Captain Blood," and "Charge of the Light Brigade" have already been chalked up, handled the film in expert manner. The supporting programme has been especially selected. It includes "Table Manners," a "short" on ping pong, one of the "Popular Mechanics" series, a comedy and the latest newsreels. The programme has been specially chosen to celebrate the Paramount Theatre's silver jubilee.
