FRESH CONVERSATIONS

RUGBY, August 26; The following communique was issued yesterday in Ceylon:—"At the request of the Government of Ceylon, the Government of India has agreed to the resumption of the informal conversations which came to a close in November, 1940, and a meeting will" take place in Ceylon early in September.
