The Moscow radio broadcast the following official statement:— "TJu's morning Russian troops-cross-ed the frontier into Iran and advanced 25 miles in the direction of Tabriz and Ardabil. The advance is continuing." .These towns,are south of the Caucasus, and about 120 miles apart. This news suggests that at least Ihere: are two> separate advances. Tabriz is the second largest town in Iran, and Ardabil is much smaller.
