OTAGO UNIVERSITY
(P.A.) DUNEDIN, August 19. The council of the Otago University, at a meeting this afternoon, received notice that under the will of Mr. John Sidey £10,000 had been bequeathed to the University of Otago, subject to life interests which had now exph'ed. The legacy had been paid in Government Stock and local body debentures. The legacy is for the general purposes of the university.
