WESTERN FRONT WAR

EIGHT PLANES DOWN

LONDON, August 19. The R.A.F. has given the Germans no respite on the Western Front. This morning strong forces of bombers, escorted by fighters, made raids on northern France. Eight enemy fighters were destroyed. Six British fighters are missing, but two of the pilots are safe.
