AUCKLAND, This Day

Injured through falling on the roadway while escaping from the warehouse fire yesterday, Francis Harold Baker (47), cashier, is still in a serious condition in the Auckland Hospital, suffering from concussion and probably a fracture of the base of the skull.

The other two people who were taken to hospital, R. G. McWhirter (44), traveller, and Stella^ Young (33). clerk, are hot in a serious condition.
