WEDDING

WILKINSON—PALMER. St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral was the scene of a very attractive wedding recently, when Dorothea Rouse, only daughter of Mrs. W. L. Palmer, Nelson, was married to Albert Edward, youngest son of Mrs. A. E. Wilkinson, Auckland. I The bride, who was escorted by her uncle, Mr. Rowland Ellis, wore a trained gown of gold lame, cut on classical lines. From a mantilla headdress fell a short veil of old Limerick lace, and she carried a sheaf of golden daffodils. Miss Betty Wall, Wellingi ton, was bridesmaid, wearing a model {frock of shell pink' sprigged organdia. i Her posy matched the deeper pink top- j knot from which fell a short veil. Mr. Frank Miles was best man. After the ceremony, Mrs. Palmer entertained many relatives and friends | 'at the Baronia Lounge. j j When the bridal couple left for the i north the bride wore a powder blue ensemble with accessories to tone.
