! The Minister of Supply (Lord Beaverbrook) has appointed Mr. .H. N. Ainsworth director-general of tank design. Mr. Ainsworth arrived in England from America by bomber a few days ago. Previously he had been tank production expert of the British Purchasing Commission. „ ' .
