Further economic action against Japan was announced today. The Board of Trade has forbidden the export of goods to Japanese ports except under licence as from tomorrow. All outstanding licences are to be revoked. The order also applies to Japanese mandated islands, and to Korea and Manchuria.

In the Far East Japanese, troops are reported to have entered Cambodia, the province" in Indo-China bordering on Thailand, but their number is not specified. Chungking reports that four mechanised units of 150 tanks each have been sent from Japan to Marichukuo and that two units have already arrived.
