CONDITION MAY BE SERIOUS

Baron Hiranuma was shot in the neck and his condition is still unrevealed. *
The police said that Ishiyama visited Baron Hiranuma by appointment and pulled a pistol from a roll -of paper on which he pretended that he wanted the Baron to write. " .■"•
The Emperor has: dispatched, the Court physician.to attend the case and Prince Konoye and other "Government leaders visited the patient.v I.;.
A later report says that three bullets struck the statesman and one version is that he was shot through the eye and that his condition may be more serious than is supposed.
