BLOCKADE DIFFICULTIES
(Rec. -.12.50 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 14,
U-boats and planes are now facing much greater difficulties in carrying out the orders for blockade <Jf the British Isles, says the "Frankfurter Zeitung." "It has become'extremely dificuit to cjetect British convoys because they now take new routes, and there are fewer convoys."
The naval correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says that the feeble excuses put out by the enemy to explain Britain's reduced shipping losses niay.be taken as evidence that the Battle of the Atlantic is going against them.-
It has been officially stated that Üboats are being sunk with increasing frequency. _-»•■•'
