AUCKLAND, August 13.

(0.C.) AUCKLAND, August 13. As tlie result of mediation by the Coal Mines Council, all the men at the iKamo coal mine, who' had been on [strike since last Thursday afternoon, returned to work yesterday.

The 32 men who were under notice of dismissal, and whose dismissal was the immediate cause of the strike, are to be re-employed. The total number of men affected was 110. The strike caused a loss in production of about 600 tons of coal.
