THE CHUNGKING RAID
CHUNGKING, August 11. Four hundred Japanese planes participated in the recent severe bombardment of Chungking. The raids lasted 9h hours and the alarm sounded at 4.11) a.m..after only a short lull from Sunday's raids, which had kept the populace^ undergx-ound for 14 hours.
