"ROSE MARIE."
Spectacular and tuneful, "Rose Marie," the Wellington Musical Com* edy Company's latest production, continues to draw large audiences at the Opera House. No effort has been spared to make the production an outstanding success. Ballets play a prominent part in the show, particularly effective being the one centred round the Indian totem pole. Another very taking ballet is the one in which the funny man of the show takes no mean part. Humour is a strong point in "Rose Marie," and the company is fortunate in having two highly-gifted' fun makers who keep the ball rolling with much gusto. Principals, chorus, and orchestra are all good and work together with a will, while the staging and mounting are excellent. "Rose Marie" will be staged each night for the remainder of the week, with a matinee on Saturday. SUBURBAN THEATRES. King George (Lower Hutt).—"Call a Cop," George Formby.
