HANSEN V. BAYNER.
The Wellington Boxing Association is presenting a special attraction at the Town Hall tomorrow night when the main feature will be a twelve-round professional lightweight contest between Tommy. Hansen (Wellington) and Clarrie Rayn_r (Blenheim). Lightweights have proved to be the most popular boxers with the local public, and, with two such outstanding performers as Hansen and Rayn'er in action, the class will be shown to the best advantage. Hansen gave a fine display when he met the experienced Rayner at Nelson last year, being beaten narrowly on points. He has 'the benefit of two fights under his belt already this season, and is confident of being able to have his revenge. Rayner, however, is always a tough proposition. He is one of the cleverest boxers New Zealand has produced in recent years and an exceptionally punishing hitter. There will be amateur preliminaries.
