Major and Mrs. Hogg, who have been in residence at Wigram • for some, months, returned to Wellington today. Madame Winnie Fraser, Timaru, is visiting Wellington, and she will remain here for about a fortnight. Miss Ethel Law, national general secretary of the Y.W.C.A., has left by the Clipper for Australia on a round of visits in connection with Y.W.C.A. work. Mr. and Mrs. F. Grotrian, "Konewa," Ashhurst, are visiting Mrs. W. M, Shand, Tinakori Road. Miss Mae Murray, Palmerston North, is spending Grand National week in Christchurch. Mrs. S. Young, Wellington, is visiting her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Young, Wanganui. Miss Ailsa Mitchell, Wellington, visited Wanganui for the Young—Todd wedding and stayed the weekend with her mother, Mrs. R. Mitchell.
