A fine of £3 was imposed by Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday, upon Paddy Goslin, a sailor, for assaulting C. M. Simpson, a barman-porter at the Railway Hotel. Goslin pleaded guilty "under great provocation." Half the fine went to Simpson.
