MEAT PRICE ORDER
MASTER BUTCHERS CONFER
A case for presentation to the Price Tribunal is being prepared by representatives of the master butchers, it being understood that the meat price order presents difficulties which, it is felt, should be eliminated.
Delegates from various parts of New Zealand, with Mr. T. W. Stephenson, of Christchurch, in the chair, are carrying out their deliberations in Wellington, and at their conference, which met yesterday and is continuing today, they, have had the meat price order explained to them by a representative of the Price Tribunal. The prepared case for the master butchers is to be presented by a deputation to the tribunal at 11 a.m. tomorrow.
