ENEMY OVER BRITAIN
SLIGHT ACTIVITY REPORTED
(Rec. 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, August 4.
There was slight enemy activity last night over the east coast of England and Scotland, states an official communique.
Bombs were dropped at a few scattered points, including one in the northeast of England, where some houses were demolished" and some casualties occurred, including a small number of killed.—B.O.W.
