POSSIBLE CO-OPERATION
British and Russian Navies
(Rec. 9 a.m.) LONDON, July 8. In an article in the "Daily Mail," Captain Bernard .Aokworth hints that the Russian and British navies 1 may co-operate against the common enemy in the near future, thereby greatly tightening the British blockade of continental Europe, especially in the Baltic, where Germany's iron-ore supplies from Sweden and Norway could be affected. Russian submarines, he claims, would also be in a position to endanger the movements of.German man ships in the Black Sea and to threaten Japanese shipping if Japan became embroiled.
