DIVIDENDS ANNOUNCED.

The Union Bank of Australia, Limited, has declared an interim dividend equal to 3s (English currency) per share, less British income tax of 11.7 d per share, making the net dividend 2s 0.3d per share, English currency. The warrants will be drawn on Wellington and will be payable at any of the bank's branches in New Zealand at the buying rate of exchange for demand drafts on London at the date of the warrants, namely, July 30, 1941. Directors of Chas. Begg and Company, Ltd., recommend a dividend of 5 per cent, for the year, free of national and social 'security taxes. Electrolytic Zinc has declared today a dividend of 8 per cent, for the halfyear ended June 30, payable September 26, both preference and ordinary, shares. This dividend makes a total distribution for the year of 14 per cent;.
