MEMBERS REBUKED
UNSEEMLY BEHAVIOUR
(Rec. 9 a.m.) CANBERRA, June 20
On the adjournment of the House of Representatives today, the Prime Minister, Mr. R. J. Menzies, rebuked members who acted in an unseemly manner while informally discussing conscription. He deplored their challenges and counter-challenges to enlist. Such conduct, he said, was not only inconsistent with the dignity of the House but entirely out of harmony with the feelings of other members as well as the general public—U.P.A.
