A Rome communique claims that after'three days of violent fighting the battle at Sollum ended in complete success for the Axis forces.

A special Italian communique says that Axis motorised units at Sollurn encircled the majority of the British forces, and that south of Sidi Omar the British attacked, using 200 tanks. — U.P.A.
