MRS. LOVE'S TITLE UPHELD
$P.A.) AUCKLAND, June 18. . The appeals of Putua Rangatira, also known as W. P. Browne, and his [srife, Tuvaine Rangatira, of Rarotonga. against the award of the title of makea nui ariki, or paramount chief, to Mrs. ,Takau Rio Love, have been dismissed ■by Mr. Justice Ostler.
The appeals were against a decision made in Mrs. Love's favour in February, 1940, by Judge Ayson, of the High Court of the Cook Islands.
