HIGH-PRICED RABBITSKINS
Dunedin rabbitskin sales yesterday dealt with approximately 75 tons. Deliveries were small. There was again exceptionally strong demand for all grades and descriptions, and the offering was sold readily at values considerably higher than last sales' quotations. Hatters' appreciated on an average 6d per. lb, while furriers' grades were better by 9d to 12d per lb. Exporters bid . keenly and, as usual, took the bulk of the offering, with New Zealand manufacturers operating on lots suitable for their trade. First winter bucks sold to 169 d. first early winter bucks lo 161 d, second winter bucks to 158 d, first winter does to 156 d, second winter does to 139 d, first incoming to 143 d,' spotted ' winter bucks to 142 d, spotted winter does to 119 d, furrier does to 132 d.. .
