PRAYER ON KING'S BIRTHDAY

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —It is cheering in this time of strain and sorrow to read the letters ii. the "Evening Post" on "Spiritual Basis" and to know that so many, including our beloved King, Australia's Prime Minister. Mr, Menzies, and Lord Bledisloe, realise the truth of the Bible, which says "God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble." How good it would be to know we were having a day of prayer on our King's birthday so that blessing will come to our King and • ation and to our own soldiers who, with others. are fighting so bravely for us in this time of crisis.—l am, etc.,

E.A.J,
