BOMBED IN SUDA BAY

ONLY SEVEN CASUALTIES

LONDON, May 29,

The Admiralty announces the loss of the 8000-ton cruiser York, which was being repaired in Suda Bay, Crete, on the day of the German invasion.

She was repeatedly bombed, and is now regarded as a total loss. The casualties are two killed and five wounded.
