EDUCATION THE ONLY ROAD

AUCKLAND, May 29,
"International and social strife can only be stopped by education that is both general and thorough," said the Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall, in an address to students at the Auckland Teachers' Training College.
Education alone, he added, could give the nation, Empire, and the world that strength and sympathy which would make possible a new order based on more real social justice.
