SOLDIER'S OFFENCE
I A sentence of 14 days" imprisonment :with hard labour was imposed upon Francis Leo Shivnan, a soldier, who appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's. Court today. He pleaded guilty to assaulting Nan Webb and to wilfully damaging a pane of • glass. Sub-Inspector L. Capp said that at about 4.30 p.m. yesterday the accused 'entered a shop in Willis Street and dejmanded the sum of 10s from a girl.
