TWO ENEMY BOMBERS SHOT DOWN
! (Rec. 1 p.m.) RUGBY, May 28. An enemy bomber was shot down in the south-east of Scotland by fighters of the R.A.F. this afternoon, and at dusk yesterday an enemy bomber was intercepted off the Cornish coast by British fighters and shot down into the sea.—B.O.W.
