President Iloosevelt told his Press conference tonight that he had no intention of asking for the repeal of the Neutrality Act.

Earlier the President spent two and a half hours with Lord Halifax, British Ambassador, and Professor J. M. Keynes, the British economic expert. Lord Halifax indicated that they had discussed United States production problems and the general economic situation. He said they had not talked about the protection of shipping.
