The first thoughts of members went out to the gallant sportsmen who were fighting in different parts of the Empire, said the president of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society, Mr. L. O. H. Tripp, at the annual meeting of the society last night. Anson, formerly chairman of the society's council, is serving in Egypt.
