FIRST THOUGHTS
The first thoughts of members went out to the gallant sportsmen who were fighting in different parts of the Empire, said the president of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society, Mr. L. O. H. Tripp, at the annual meeting of the society last night. Members read of their courage and sacrifice and of that of people in the Motherland and were proud of their Motherland and of the Empire, Mr. Tripp said. Dr. G. F. V. Anson, formerly chairman of the society's council, is serving in Egypt.
