WHITE CLOVES FOR JUDGE

(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, May 26,

"This is the first time during my twelve years on the Supreme Court Bench that I have had the pleasure of this experience," said the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) this morning, when he received a pair of white gloves in token of a total absence of criminal business on the Supreme Court list. His Honour congratulated the district on its freedom from crime.
