Two swift goals, one by Bowden from the edge of the circle and the other by Fletcher, gave victory to Air Force against Wellington at Karori Park on Saturday in the senior A grade of the men's hocUey competition. The game in the first spell was very even, but in the second half It became rough and scrappy, with Air Force showing better combination. Wellington were inclined to be offside and were frequently penalised for breaches of this rule. Swain was the third scorer for Air Force and Ferguson scored for Wellington, the game ending: Air Force 3, Wellington 1.
