TANKS AND GUNS

MORE MADE DESPITE

BOMBERS

(Rec. 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, May 22

Despite air raids the output of tanks and guns in the first quarter of 1941 was 50 per cent, higher than in the December quarter, which was the best of last year.

It is revealed that the rooms of the Empire Parliamentary Association in Westminster Hall were destroyed during an air raid on April 10, but that some important books and records were saved. —U.P.A.
