WAR EXPENSES FUND

Interest-free loans and donations to the War Expenses Fund now total £,2,681,484. Contributions acknowledged today included the folowing:— J. E. P. Cameron, Timaru, £1000; Miss C. Barnes, Christchurch, £125; G. H. Bennett, Ltd., Palmerston North, Hokiangi Rod and Gun Club, E. S. Haycoak, Richmond, W. Knuckey, Wanganui, Mrs. F. A. Nicholls, Wellington, £100 each.

Donations of interest totalling approximately £840, had been received from a further 200 Post Office Savings Bank depositors.
