FULL POWER WANTED

MR. KNUDSEN'S DEMAND

AMERICAN WAR SUPPLIES

ORDER OF PRIORITIES

(Rec. 1 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 14,

Mr. Knudsen has announced that he is determined to resign his directorship on the Office of Production Management if his hands are tied in the matter of pi'iorities. Mr. Knudsen has taken the stand that he could not continue in office if someone else is to have authority to say what orders should be placed before others. To avert such a development the Administration is throwing its full weight behind a move to reverse the decision of the House of Representatives on priorities and leave them in Mr. Knudsen's hands.—U.P.A.
