STREET FATALITY

(P.A.) INVERCARGILL, May 14. A young woman was fatal 1 y injured at Greenhills last night as the result of being struck by a motor-car. She was Mrs. Jean Anderson, aged 25, wife of Mr. Harry Anderson, who is serving overseas.

Mrs. Anderson was a passenger by bus. She alighted and walked in front of it to cross the road and was struck by a car driven by Mrs. McKay, of Bluff, travelling in the same direction as the bus. Mrs. Anderson died soon after her admission to" hospital.
